Dilaudid And Subutex (Page 4)

I had a knee surgery yesterday. I have been using subutex to help me taper narcotics. I stopped the subutex 2 weeks before surgery. My doctor prescribed both percocet and oxycontin. I am getting no pain relief. The iv Dilaudid worked in the hospital. Has anyone taken Dilaudid by pill at home?

Hi I recently had a hysterectomy was on IV Dilaudid in the hospital they sent me home with Dilaudid pill form but I feel sick like i haven't taken anything . I don't know what's wrong. Can anyone help?

Nothing depending on how much subutex u take a day nothing will help unless u stop subutex. Im trying to quite pills and sometimes i feel great and other i feel like im gonna die. be careful.

They wont stop taking subs for at keast a day and then u will feel it

I had the same problem I thought the subutex didn't have the blocker so I took Dilaudid and felt nothing why is that

Yes try and get dilaudid... but only problem with pill form of dilaudid is that it has a very low oral bioavailability. So if your taking a 4mg pill for example your only getting 1-2mg at most. They had me on 4mg every 4hours. You will probably get 8mg conversion rate to oxy and perc.

I took 12 mg of suboxone 29 hours ago and then 16 mg of dilaudid this a.m. at 7:30, would i feel the effects if i took 16 mg 7 hours later? and if i wont feel it then how many hours should i wait to take my 16-24 mg dilaudid for pain relief?

I have took subs for over a year I have took a stripe and later in the day iv 8mg I'd Dilaudid and you want get the feeling but it will stop the pain I've done it a bunch and ain't never got sick but some say the do but I dont

In pill form this drug is not as effective as IV or IM (intermusculer). As your Dr to switch you back to oxycodone if possible.

Probably not. Subutex is made to control opiate withdrawal. It's an opiate antagonist. Which means it will fight against full opiates and win. Wait a couple days.

Yes I have. I am on suboxen, and took a few diludid said early in the morning, then took my suboxen 8milagrams the next morning. I was ok, didn't feel like I usually did, but I didn't go threw any bad withdrawl. I know I can't take them together because you will go threw withdrawl. I don't think I'll do that again. I don't want to take a chance on it making me withdrawl. Just stick to your suboxen, I am.

I am on 4 mg of Dilaudid 3 times a day plus FENTYNAL sprays for instant pain relief. I was put on this due to cancer,but now am in full remission. I do have serious back issues due to being hit head on by a drunk driver back in 2011. I am wanting to get off all of this. Any suggestions?

I was IV'ing 24 to 32mg of dilaudid daily for 2 yrs. Decided i was done with drugs and got on subutex 8mg. First day took to tablets, second day took one and another one tablet the third day. Had no wwithdrawal and didnt need to take it anymore. Only took me 3 days to beat the habbit and that after multiple times tryin cold turkey. Would not advise the cold turkey method but subutex is a amazing drug and saved my life from either death or jail. Anyone can beat this addictionand rremember if you feel like using go to NA meetings or talk to someone. Your not alone and stay strong!!!

2mg subutex-suboxe(either one you gotta wait about 14-36 hours after last opiate)induction:take the 2mg 15 minutes you don't feel better or worse take an additional 2mg take up to 16 mg if you have a tolerance don't go too qwik make sure you already are in early withdrawals especially with suboxone
