how does glucibetic help someone with diabetic? Does it have any side effects? Are there known cases of failure? What are the long/short term benefits? ## I want to know if Glucobetic is worth taking, and also, are there any side effects? I have been stage two diabetic for about 18 years and I have been diet controlled, but my last 6 months' sugar level was 8.6. So I am concerned that I may have to start taking tablets i.e (METFORMIN).

I would like to know the generic name of this drug (Volix) and any other information you may have on it. ## The generic name is Voglibose. Its available in 0.2 and 0.3mg strengths. There are only couple of manufacturers of this molecule. These companies manufacture on behalf of other companies and are marketed under different brand names like Vobose (USV), Voglistar (Mankind), Voglimac (Macleods), Volabay (Wallace), etc.. The brand names carry different MRP but the manufacturer is the same! Check it out!

Need to know if constipation is a side affect of Actos ## Actos contains the active ingredient Pioglitazone, it is an oral antidiabetic medication and in most cases, they are known to cause diarrhea, however, every medication can affect everyone differently. Have you contacted your doctor about the problem? If it severe, you do need to get to the root of the problem and find a solution, which may include lowering your dosage of this or switching to a different medication. ## I have recently read about a potential lawsuit alleging that Actos caused bladder cancer. here is the website:

Just to reply to comment about all pills marked with a 44 are over the counter...not necessarily true. Avandaryl (Rosiglitazone and Glimepiride) is marked with GSK 44 ## Pills marked with a 44, followed by additional numbers are over the counter products. For instance, the one mentioned in the subject line, with a 44 235 on it contains 500mgs of Acetaminiphen and 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, this is a generic or store brand of Tylenol PM. Hii My mother is a Diabetic Patient n she is close to 51 Yrs old she is facing lower back pain from past 3-4 days but from last night it become worse and unbearable, i wonder is it due to Kidney stones or Infections or any nerve issue...as i have check kidney infection n stone symptoms its not matching like no change in Urine, no vomit, no fatigue, no swelling its just pain in lower back...so what should be the matter please suggest.

What is the purpose of this medicine prescribed by my doctor? ## I have been taking Gluconorm SR 1g in the morning and 500 mg at night + Vobit 0.2mg in the morning and in the afternoon. Now my PBS goes up to 250 and my doctor recommended Glynase Mf (1 in the morning) + Galvusmet 50/500mg at night. Where do I stand with everything? Is this combination of meds safe? Are there any side effects?

I found this pill its dark green with a white stripe and an ex on the side. Its not a gel capsul its a hard capsul and it has a 2 very long bumps almost like sides running alond the length of the pill. I know its not the Excedrin pills because thoes are gel capsules and aren't as hard as the casing around this one is. ## alond is suppose 2 be along the length of the pill ## Actually, this is and Excedrin tablet, I have a bottle of them right here that perfectly meets this description and marking, however, it is not the regular Excedrin, it's Excedrin Extra Strength tablets, which contain 250mgs of Acetaminophen, 250mgs of Aspirin and 65mgs of Caffeine. I have irregular periods. I'm taking Janumet at strength 1000/50 twice a day. I have read that the company starts doing once daily tablets of this pill. Is it already on market? My doctor doesn't know anything about this. Is someone heard something? How can I received it and what strength are available.

My physician suggested Neuropill 100mg for me. However, due to its lack of availability, the pharmacist recommended Trigabantin 100mg instead. Are both of these tablets identical in composition? ## I am a patient with diabetes and I'm currently unable to walk due to weakness. I've been informed that my nervous system is not functioning properly. Consequently, it has been suggested that I use Trigabantin. what is the drug study ofVamin Glucose 500cc? ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. I was however able to locate limited information about this medication. It is available to use by method of injection. And the ingredients in Vamin Glucose include the following: - Amino Acids - Calcium Chloride - Dextrose Anhydrous - Magnesium Sulfate - Potassium Chloride - Potassium Hydroxide - Sodium Hydroxide I'll be sure to post back if I am able to locate anymore info on this. I am a Type I diabetic. My diabetes was detected when I was 28 yrs old. Presently I am taking Insulin Humalog Plain thrice a day before every meal, my dose is 5 -10 - 5 units and also I take 18 units of Lantus Insulin at night.
