metformin has to be taken after food while voglibose, before food, a few minutes earlier. When this be so, how can both be taken together with meals? Is it not a waste of drugs, ineffectiveness of dosage administered and, loading the body more than what will be strictly necessary? 2. would it not be better to take the same separately, for more effectiveness?

i can not get my blood sugar below 9 ## Have you talked to your doctor? What types of foods do you eat and do you make sure to get proper exercise? There are other medications that can be added, such as alternative oral ones that may bring it down further, or the use of insulin injections, but only a doctor can help you decide what is right for you to use. However, your diet plays a huge role, you do have to closely watch what you eat, cutting out sweet foods and keeping it very low in fat. ## I reduced my A1C blood sugar numbers from 9.8 to 6.39 with diet. I am now reducing it further and losing weight too with a low carb diet .NO SUGAR, NO BREAD, NO PASTA, NO RICE, NO POTATOES, NO FRUIT EXCEPT BERRIES. For me, going low carb is the only thing that works.

CAN GALVAS 50MG BE PRESCRIBED IN CONJUNCTION WITH NOVOMIX 24 UNITS BD AND AT WHAT DOSAGE ## Hi Ian, Information I've gathered states that Galvus (vildagliptin) can be combined with other anti-diabetic drugs. It mentioned Metformin being one of those drugs, but does not go into great detail about which other ones are fine to take as well. Because NovoMix contains Insulin and I've read details stating how taking "Vildagliptin 50 mg twice daily exhibited efficacy when added to insulin in a 24 week study", I can only assume that they may be alright to take together; but you would have to discuss proper dosing with your doctor. I hope this helps!
