Clonazepam Recall? Round Yellow Tablets #832 By Teva

Two weeks ago (4/2/2011) I began taking clonazepam 0.5MG tablets (by TEVA) product code NDC 00093083201. They are small, yellow round tablets with the number 832 on one side and TEVA on the other.
I noticed online there was a recall for the product code in 2009. I was wondering if the tablets I'm taking now are safe even though it's two years after the recall? Hope someone can help me out. Thank you.

The NDC (National Drug Code) number is used to designate the drug, dosage and package size of the medication, for instant the digits for this one will show the FDA, pharmacists and others, that this product is Clonazepam, manufactured by Teva, that it is the 0.5mg strength and they are sent to hospitals and pharmacies in bottles of 100.

And the way it works is that every bottle of them that meets those exact specifications is going to have that same NDC code, even though it is no far after the recall and they are safe products.

That is why the detailed recall information will also include the lot numbers, expiration dates, as well as manufactured dates and production code, if any.

So you didn't receive the actual recall medication, because it isn't just the NDC number that you have to go by.
