Caverject Inconsistency
UpdatedHad Radical Prostectomy over 2 years ago, prescribed the usual Cialis (no effect), Penis Pump (works but you have to like the colour purple), Muse (poor effect with burning sensation) and finally Caverject. Like others first dose under supervision 10mg, almost instant erection (nurse was impressed!), was happy bunny, but 3 hours later less happy and wished it would subside, did eventually but realised dosage too high. Settled on 7.5 which worked well for a while then had several failures even though I was extremely careful with injection site, even with upped dose still unpredictable. As I have been using for some time was wondering if the issue of internal scarring on the site a problem, even though it has been varied at all times. Tried normal dose, if did not work pushed plunger back and increased dose on different site, sometimes works but nearly always seems to bruise as some blood flow increase has occurred. My problem is not knowing when the results will be guaranteed, sometimes have to use pump as well (you get used to the discomfort!). Has anyone else had the same 'problem' though it is still a big improvement on cancer and no erection at all. As a foot note this is coming from England where at 63 I get all my prescriptions free and Caverject (4 at a time) on repeat so I will never complain about our health service when you read what some people have been ripped off with.
