Cause Of A False Negative For Hydrocodone

I first was on Darvocets for a chronic lower back pain (that was 9yrs ago)then was put on vicodin now im taking hydrocodone 7.5-500mg..can u tell me why this drug isnt showing up on my monthly drug test .i do drink alot of liquids since im a bad diabetic .my pain most days is unbearable and my dr now wants to take my pills from me.

Hi David,

Do these medications provide you with any relief at all? I only wonder because (based on your description) it does not sound as if your body is actually absorbing the tablets; otherwise it should've shown up in your system.

I've read a lot of posts on here where individuals reported something similar, in that, they noticed the pill end up in their stool and they didn't even get any benefits from taking it. So although this may or may not be the case, it might be a good idea to bring it to your doctor's attention just to see what could be the problem.

At least if you're taking some sort of action in defense, he should get the notion that you're not lying to him.

belief it or not yes the drug works but i do drink alot of fluids like a gallon of tea probably 20ounces of water plus one or two cups of coffee per day...im concerned because at a higher dosage it not work even the patch it made my chest tight like muscle cramps but i wasn't lifting anything heavy
