Can Ethex Be Covered By Medical?

Updated

Does anyone out there have any knowledge or any experience with getting their script filled with the distributor Ethex, 80mg oxycotin's and Medical paying for them. I can't find a brain one that can answer that question as of yet?!!! And how to make sure my CII script is written to get it. Or just bring in the script and ask for only them from Ethex itself since it is already a CII script (must have 1 every month because of no refills on these)????? Im amazed that know one has the answer or hasn't read on the other discussion with this web site. thank you if you have this info.

I can tell you that Ethex does not make Oxycontin. What they do make is similar to Roxicodone. They did make something similar to OxyIR but I do not beleive they make that anymore. You can get their version of Roxi 5mg, 10mg, 20mg and 30mg if your pharmacy stocks it from them

Right, Ethex is a distributor for Purdue threw Walgreens but I just found out that once what has been ordered to Walgreens will be the last. How long that will be is anyones ? mark. IR version has been taken out too! As for the roxicodone I will look at that. My problem is I can take the pill but will my stomach hold the pill? They keep adding things, well because of every abuse under the sun. I just wish for stomach's like mine they had something. thanks for the email back. I did find out that they do take Medi-Cal or did. But said all stores in Sonoma County, Calif. will be going only to Purdues's OP. I have to agree with a persons comment, the OP stands for Oxy Plastic. It comes up like flem and stringy. i can even see little particles that must be product not getting to where IT SHOULD BE! With the Polyethylene oxide and the BHT. What next.

Thats exactly whats these new OP's are like. A hardened stryrofoam. I don't like them. They are not as effective, have given me a rash/hives and a low grade headache. Its really frustratiing.,

Keep a log or record of whats been happening to yourself and others should also. I have kept all reciepts and a daily log of what this has been doing to my value of life. My PA from clinic gave me a script for Opana ER 5mg and from the 80mg Oxycodone, not good. when she finally called on Friday said I must have given to low a dose(WHAT)!!! and also asked if I lost any weight. I said yes since I can't eat. She told me to Look on the bright side of it! And I have an appointment with head PM Oct, 1st. If any problems to go to the ER but she doesn't know what they can do for you. My son had knee surgery here back ACL replacement and other things done to knee. So He needs to not be up and doing not much of anything. I had brought him the phone for a call and lest itin the bedroom. When my PA called I answered it on speaker phone. Where my friend of 24 years and I were. My friends mouth dropped when she heard exactly what this person with my pain and health in her hands said to me. Then the friend jumped up to the PC and went to a drug convertor is. WOW these things are on line. Anyways did the convertor thing and I should have been put on 20mg to 30mg at least than up to 40mg if needed. I'm trying to change offices now but the first thing they ask is are you on any pain medication and want to send anyone to Pain mangement. Sorry needed to get that out. But watch for any Class Action Law Suits on this I want to join .

Yes, Oxycontin is made by Purdue, the generic versions have been banned by the FDA, to help prevent there being so many opportunities available for diversion. Having it come from one company makes it much easier to keep track of the pills and any theft that occurs.

As to whether or not your insurance will pay, that depends on the insurance itself and what it will cover.

It even lists on the Ethex website that their product is no longer available, due to new FDA regulations.
