Can Ativan Show A False Positive Opus Twin A Home Drug Test?

My boyfriend is a heroine addict and say he's been clean but I gave him a home drug test today and it tested positive for opiates. He swears he hasn't used and is suggesting that the Ativan he takes gave a false positive result for opiates. Could that be true or is he lying?
