Call Purdue Pharma About New Oxycontin 80mg Op (Page 7)

This is the number to Purdue when calling select Opt # 2 and explain the adverse reaction that you are having from the new reformulated Oxycontin. The number is 888-726-7535. If the new type is working for you then great. I and several people I spoke with said it gets stuck in your throat even with food. Plus it does not last 12 hour. I understand why they re-made it kids should not take it and as far as how people take it snort, inject or chew its their business. Nobody should tell another ADULT how to live his or her life. It sucks to live in pain it really does. Good Luck All

Bob Smith - I sure hope you aren't talking about me! Cause if you are, you better look back through this web site and see what I have written for the last few years. I have never, never sold one the whole time I have had to take these oc/op's. Get a grip here buddy!

After 35 years of suffering from back and hip pain and several back surgeries and fusions and hip replacements ,several pain clinics ,chirpactors ,accupunturist,doctors talked me into taking pain meds..the only thing that worked for me..20 mg 2x a day oxycontin oc..now they give me oxycontin op and and all i do is vomit and feel sick all the time..and still in pain..the pharmacy said it is the same thing..now all I want to do is eat a big dinner and go to the pharmacy take 1 of the op,s in front of them and in about 45 minutes puke all over there counter..and then ask them how do you like that..do you think that would help me get the oc's again? thanx John

the meds r in your stool. get latex gloves and save in zip lock bag. then ask dr to test stool. we may only be getting 20mgs of the 80mg.

warti -warwalker and other sufferers of severe /moderate/agonizing pain i have been reading back to the "bruce" gentleman who seems to have a bad read on people who truly need relief of meds to even simulate any type of normalcy in there life.will write more later just want to read a little more of the comments hang tough i know what its like

have been reading back on the earlier post was not sure what is safe to say on this site.it seems there is enough controversy to as the new composition on the op's,that something would be done about it,but i guess when you become an opioid dependent you also choose to accept second class citizenship.I have been taking these cursed medications for going on 15 years and still cant believe that public opinion is such that when someone learns of your medication "therapy"they still react with one of like GEE YOU LUCKY DOG"do they not understand that pain is a miserable side effect of disease or trauma!any -way you look at it the more adverse press that this type of med receives the more burden of depressed feeling's get shoveled on to my aching back.I have stopped mentioning it all together but then have to reason as to why i cant do some of the normal everyday stuff i took for granted before my accident.

TJ~ your writing sounds as if you are a younger person, and unsure of your environment.?? What is bothering you, TJ? Despite a few jag-offs, You can open up and talk on this thread. People will have different feelings towards U, but that is OK, U take what U need and leave the rest. Some of us w/ experience get notices if people post~I will watch 4 U. Some times it feels good just to 'get it out', write it down. its a start. The Moderator. Wtarin-1, myself, others, you can get a sense of who is real. If you get an idiot smack, file it under s*** and forget em'.

WarWalker has answered alot of my questions and beliefs of what we can or can't do about this. I guess I have to tell you to just "suck it up". We CAN'T do anything about it. I just haven't figured out whether is it political, religious, or the nay sayers. But we are prisioners of this world. That my friend is a fact. So sit back and enjoy the ride. warwalker and wartin1 glad to hear your reply seems like the more you talk about the pain sometimes you put it out of your mind.just got my latest MRI results back and they are not good.tryin to keep the mortgage paid on disability is looking rough.And frikn WELLS FARGO home mortgage is of NO help even though I have kept the payments current somehow,and have a VA loan they wont help due to bad credit,which took big hits after my accident.I love the place and have lived here 13 years but things are lookin rough.oh well enough spoutin off for tonite i can only stay at the computer so long before im in agony will post more on a better day

TJ - I'm so sorry for the financial situation you are currently in. But PLEASE keep you chin up LOL, no don't do that, it will cause pain. But a lot and I mean a lot of people are with you. My own daugher (
WarWalker this is my OTHER daughter) she works full time and her husband does too. She HAD to file bankrupty and can't find any other place to go to get HER morgtage re-fi'd. It's rought out there and living in pain doesn't help. YOU WILL get through this. May God Bless You and YOURS at this time of year!

WWKER sorry havnt been on for some time but thanks for your vote of confidence yes,i will try to get through this mess,it's just fcked they wont help unless you get behind then they just make more cash from fees and loan alignments don't we have anyone arbitrating our rights as second class purdue junkies trying to align this.I mean it's not like I decided to go out one night to have someone run me off the road on my bike only to leave me laying there!anyway i will try to stay in touch more often I also extend a more joyous new year to you and all.

A brief hello [W-1-thinking of you , stay positive as you can and out of the past; TJ; just caught up tonight], any others living daily facing the gamut of searing pain to drugged attempts at that which many of us will never attain - a day of functionality with cripplng pain gone.
So easy to say, but just keep hangin on..........I will get back at y'all soon~Tragedy follows me~no, just feels that way. I can't remember if I told U all, but I lost a portion of my house to fire Oct.1. Yes, have insurance, some know that when push to shove, their tactics, agents and gutless, pussified ways of dealing with human beings is disgusting at times. And I was not at fault. Still am not at home.
My Dr, said, 'You better get this thing settled up before you lose your progress, have a break-down or kill someone.' I told him I usually did not carry in his office just for that reason.
=) May B a while, TJ hang tight, W-1, B good. I will keep pushin. Others here> I had 9yr, w/Oxy-was a wonder drug for me, until the poison arrived. I recommend switch to different med. Please direct any support prayers to the "Please Fix that Dudes Trauma Faucet!!! It's leaking again bad!!

I think it may be worht starting a new 'spport' thread 4 those who need it or want advice or just a good ear....

WW & TJ - Good to hear from both of yu. WW, when did the fire happen? No one was hurt I take it? I hope not, just ONE more thing to add to the misury huh? I have been seeing a psch, myself and she sure doesn't help. Calls me a victim, VICTIM, I think not. Maybe of big brother, Purdue and all the others that think it's all in our head as I have to sleep on my back everynight, it's not in my head! That's almost laughable. warwalker ,w-1 and all others just a quick hello been a tied up and haven't been on for quite some time and promise to check back and talk just hasn't been good lately are there other sites that you all communicate on or is it just sporadically on here?just asking because it seems like a lot of time passes by before anyone chats and believe me i am not on much anymore ,i like too but it gets too my back and before i can type out anything intelligent its off to the supine position to relax the tightness and pain relief should get a lap top but hell just bought my daughter one for school and you know how the money game works or does not work any way wish everyone and all a happy day and hope to catch up soon let me know of any alternative chat sites you all might be on peace
