I am guessing that from this list of medications, there may be a few that are causing it and possibly compounding the problem.

However, the first thing I would like to ask is how long has it been, since they changed any medication?

Many drugs take 4 to 6 weeks to reach their full effectiveness in the body and this is usually when side effects hit their peak. However, this also means that when a medication has been eliminated from his regimen, it can take up to a month, or so, before it is fully processed out of his body and the side effects that he was experiencing will wear off. 2.5 months if only around 10 weeks, so this may not have fully happened, yet.

Having covered that, let's look at the medications, to see which one or ones may be causing the problem.

He could be experiencing this from almost any medication that effects his circulation, such as blood thinners and blood pressure medications.

Clopivas AP contains Aspirin and Clopidogrel, it used as a blood thinner and to prevent clotting.

Thus, it could be a culprit. Anytime a medication caused thinner blood, it can cause someone to get cold very easy, even on a warm, sunny day.

Other side effects can include: nausea, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding.

Atrolip contains Atorvastatin, it is used to help lower cholesterol.

This class of medications can cause some very bad side effects, such as joint/muscle aches, chest pain, peripheral edema and flu-like syndrome.

Thus, it could also be contributing to his problem.

Carloc contains the active ingredient Carvedilol, it is a beta blocker that is used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions.

Now, if I had to make a guess, this one would be it! It is very well known to cause these types of problems. It can cause a very serious form of Raynaud's Phenomenon, which fits your father's symptoms and you can read more on it here:

https://www.medschat.com/wiki/Raynaud's_phenomenon&ad=true

https://www.medschat.com/wiki/Carvedilol/

And I can tell you from personal experience that it is very bad with this medication. For me, the cold and shivering got so bad, that the last time I was in my doctor's office, I had been sitting there, in the warmth waiting for my appointment for over 45 minutes, but from the brief time I was outside, my hands and feet were still blue and numb. It is very odd, because internally you really don't feel cold, as a matter of fact, I can be sweating, but my extremities will still experience this. My doctor halved my dosage and I am still having a serious problem with it and have contacted her, to insist on trying something else.

The Imdur contains Isosorbide and is used to treat Angina and irregular heartbeat.

Its most common side effects may include: headache, nausea, sleep disturbances and hypotension.

Zolfresh contains the active ingredient Zolpidem, it is used for the short-term treatment of insomnia.

Side effects might include: dizziness, hallucinations and short-term memory loss.

Ativan contains the active ingredient Lorazepam, it is a Benzodiazepine that is used to help with anxiety, nervous disorders and severe cases of insomnia.

Side effects can include: nausea, headache, dizziness and irritability.

Unfortunately, I can't find anything under the names Cardoc-H and Meclizide. Can you could check the name and spelling on those?

Sir, thank you very much for your detail reply. the correct spelling is Mclazide-M

Thanks for checking on that!

Mclazide-M contains Gliclazide and Metformin, there are oral antidiabetic medications, used to help lower and control blood sugar.

It is not likely that it is contributing to his problem, it normally causes side effects like nausea, dizziness, low blood sugar and flatulence.

https://www.medschat.com/wiki/Gliclazide/

https://www.medschat.com/wiki/Metformin/

Therefore, I still have to stick with my guess, that it is related to his cardiac/blood pressure medications and more than likely the culprit is the Carvedilol in the Carloc.

He is on the lowest dosage of it that is available, so if it is what is causing the problem, then that probably means its just not the right medication for him to take.

Has he discussed this with his doctor's, yet?

Sir, After CABG, My father ECG report indicates 1st Degree Heart Block and Laural Myocardial Ischemia. what does that means

First degree heart block simply means that the electrical impulse is moving through the AV node of the heart more slowly than normal. This usually means that there is nothing wrong with the heart rate and rhythm and normally requires no treatment, because it can even be caused by some of the medications he is on.

The Myocardial Ischaemia is a disease characterized by reduced blood flow to the heart, it is usually caused by coronary artery disease.

This can be caused by many things, such as age, smoking, high cholesterol, or heredity.

You can read more details on the causes and possible treatment options here:

Is there anything else I can help with?

90% blockage? Yet the man is still walking as normal? Don't believe it. Don't do angiogram or angioplasty. Go to the famous cardiologist George Early, heart care center, Madhav pharmacy in., Kacheripadi, cochin. He will treat you with allopathy tablets, weight reduction, mild yoga exercise, reduced and selective diet and a 40 minute regimen of walking daily. No problem. I am his patient. At the beginning you may have some difficulty and tiredness. It may pass over time.
