Unfortunately the only legal way to get Suboxone is through a prescription from your doctor. If you're trying to wean off I would highly recommend visiting a pain management doctor or specialist as opposed to a regular MD, since they are generally less reluctant to prescribe the types of medications.

hi, i am assuming you are a woman, a mom of 4 children, looking to get off of opiates...i agree with david...i myself have never been to a pain management type of facility, but i do take suboxone and was referred by a friend to a general practice family doctor who was one of very few (at the time) suboxone certified MDs...he's a nice enough doc but u can totally tell he's all about the money...a pain management place might be more understanding, and please be sure to ask whatever doctor you see about the co-pay card that the manufacterer can give the doctor, it is good for 20 free suboxone strips. the strips work as well as the tablets used to - before they switched to generic and they are no longer making the original orange 8/2 tablet....sorry if it's too much info to give at once...be persistent - they should want to help you if you are reaching out to get clean & healthy for yourself and your kids.
