Butalb Apap Caff 50 325 40 Tab

i have been prescribed butalb-apap-caff 50-325-40 tab as part of an epilepsy seizure treatment. directions are take one tablet every 4 hrs as needed for pain but not more than 3 days in a row. can anyone explain the reason for taking not more than 3 days in a row?

One reason would be the risk of it masking other serious symptoms, for instance, if you're taking so much of something to relieve pain that you're not realizing that your pain is getting a lot worse and requires another look by a medial professional.

There are also other symptoms that may be masked, such as worsening seizures.

Sometimes such instructions are also given to help avoid someone becoming addicted to medications that may be habit forming.
