Aurora, Colorado Needs Pain Med Doctor

I'm having difficulty finding a good doctor who doesn't scrutinize or is skeptical to patients for wanting pain meds, Norco 10/325's for pain is what I have been prescribed in the past for my medical condition. Please Help if you can refer me to a good doctor who listens and understands the patients! Thank You!

Hi, Eme! Sorry about the problem you're having and that you're in pain. No one should have to suffer.

However, doctors have no choice but to be skeptical and scrutinize. If they don't and their prescribing practices are found to be questionable, they risk losing their license to practice medicine.

The best thing you can do is to set up an appointment with a new doctor and then make sure that they receive a full copy of your current medical records. If they can see what medications have and have not worked for you in the past as documented by a fellow physician, they will be more prone to prescribe accordingly. These records should also include any recent test results that were done and document why you are in pain and need assistance.

Does anyone have a doctor they can recommend in this area?

I live in Colorado Springs and see Dr. Malinky and Dr. Laub. They are pain management doctors and are very compassionate doctors. I see them for back and hip pain. I have had two injections done in my back and most recently hip surgery without any relief They have no problem prescribing pain medications to help me deal with the pain. I hope you find someone to help you with your pain.
