Amphetamine Salts Er/ All Side Effects

I recently was put on this medication ( amphetamine salts er 10mg) for a sleeping issue. I just wanted to know if there are any sexual side effects (ex: unable to get an erection.) Also can this medication cause any type of pain, specifically in the testicles ranging from dull back and forth to one another and sharp for a few seconds there after?

Anytime you experience unusual pain, whether you suspect it's from a medication, or not, you should tell your doctor immediately, so they can help you discover the cause.

And yes, it is known to cause sexual side effects, such as impotence or lack of libido.

As to the pain, it has also been known to cause UTIs, so you really should contact your doctor.

I want to thank you for the reply. I will talk to my doctor,I have had the same pain before but worse and my urologist sent me to get an ultrasound done on my left testicle and the results showed nothing was wrong.And at that time I was not on Amphetamine Salts. As I stated previously, the pain was dull but moved from one testicle to the other, once in a while it would get sharp like a pinch or a feeling like being stuck with a pin tip fade to a slight sqeeze. But Thank You again for replying and I will get in-touch with my doctor.

The other thing is that this stuff is basically SPEED...It speeds up everything in ur body, including sperm production...This happened to me yrs ago when Dr's put me on these for weight loss and I couldnt figue what was happeneing to me....3 fingers in my ass later b/c they were checking prostate, after I stopped taking them, I noticed this stopping. Also when u have sex or masturbate, you will notice fluid coming out b4 u actually ejaculate, this is from the speeding process in your body and it makes sex painfull....Hope my horrble experience helps....Try explaining tose symptoms to a dr or nurse...They all Thought I was a pre-mature ejaculator, when in fact i was just making so much...It was leaking out....Thank god for my wife tho...she was very nice about all that stuff in her mouth...lol
