E on one side and 79 on the other. AMBIEN? I sure hope so;) ## Yes, there is an oval, white tablet with the E on one side and 79 on the opposite that contains 10mgs of Zolpidem, which is the active ingredient in Ambien. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, hallucinations and vivid dreaming. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with? ## A concern was posted regarding E on one side, and 79 the other(Ambien). Was it a true Ambien,I know that it is. My concern is that, this is another pill, that big pharma has exploited. I also have a sleeping problem, and have realized that these particular pills will make one wonder. One n two months they(zolpidem)work, the next you ask did I take sleep meds? Another med that makes me hate the manufacturers. I worked hard for that money, and I ...

Im in a drug court program and im tested twice weekly. I have been having trouble sleeping, a few months ago I was prescibe ambien but now that Im on the program Iam afraid to take it, I dont want to risk getting a positive test so what Im wondering is how long wil it stay in my system Can anyone help? ## Hi alicia, Ambien has what is called a short half-life, which means it doesn't stay in the system for very long. You didn't mention what strength pills you were taking or whether they are extended release or not, so it is hard to give you an exact answer, but 48 hours after the last dose would be safe to say it would be out of your system. On average, Ambien will remain in your body not much past the 24 to 36 hour mark and certainly no longer than 48 hours. I hope this helps! #...

anyone who may know anything about this jplease let me know these people took over 200 dollars and sent me some yellow pills thru the mail that they claim are ambien, from usa, and fda approved. but they arent or they would have markings. i dont know what they are and im scared to take one. i want my money back but ive emailed them fifty times or more and never get a email back. ## Unfortunately, that's one of the hazards of ordering in such a manner, there's really no way of being sure what you'll get. Not long ago there were people posting on here who'd all ordered from one website and they all received the same exact pills, the problem was they'd all ordered different things and the place just sent them all the same pills claiming it was the drug they'd ordere...

Can you safely take ambien CR while on MS Contin ER 60 mgs? The ms contin makes me sleepy but I still can't fall asleep. I've been taking ambien cr for over a year. My pain Dr. just switched hydrocodone for MS Contin.. any information on this combination will be appreciated. Thanks ## Hello, Heather! How are you doing? It would be best to double check with your doctor, before combining these medications. They both cause depression of the central nervous system, which may be problematic for some people. This might cause dangerously lowered heart rate, blood pressure and breath rate, which could lead to coma or be fatal. The FDA classifies MS Contin as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsines...

Does Ambien show up as a Benzo on a drug test? ## Since it is not a Benzo, I would not think it would show up, the ones that would are pills such as Klonpin, Xanax, Valium and etc. ## DOES BELLASPAS SHOW UP IN DRUG TEST.... ## On that one, I have no idea. If you are taking it and it is prescribed for you, then you shouldn't have to worry about it. ## yes, Ambien shows up in a drug test as a Benzo, at least the tests that are sent to labs anyway, not sure about the quick tests or over-the-counter tests. I am a patient at a methadone clinic and have failed drug tests for taking Ambien and Lunesta both, they show us as benzos. ## Yes it will show up in a drug test. My sister went to prison for 10 months and is on probation for 3 years. She was having trouble sleeping after she got home...

How long does it take to get Ambien out of your system ?? I have a prescription for Gabapentin and Hydrocodone, thus I assume (correct me if I am wrong) that if I bring the bottles to the lab with me they will see they are prescribed, that will not be an issue for the bad urine test for the job offer I have received. The email actually says that I have until 05/15/2015 to take it, but thought if I take nothing all week and go in on Friday afternoon I could be safe. Just not sleep for a week, but would rather have a job than a good nights sleep. Will also cut the Gabapentin + Hydrocodone Appreciate advise. Many thanks and Cheers, Steve

I recently received small, slightly off-white football shaped (like brand-name Xanax), unmarked, yet scored on one side...Allegedly generic Ambien...Anyone know what it really is, or has the same product and knows for sure what it is? ## Was this ordered from a foreign pharmacy/source? If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what this contains. All legal U.S. manufactured pills have to have unique imprints to enable their identification, but few other countries have such a law in place. It may be Ambien, or any number of other medications, including over the counter products. Is anyone familiar with this tablet? ## Since posting your question have you found out if this was generic ambien? I have recieved the same thing and am concerned as it looks noth...

Is Ambien CR (for long term usage) the same as the generic Ambien for short term use? What is the difference, what's in it? I take the teva 74 but have been on it for some years. I tried the CR at one point but I felt was a lesser dosage and it did not work for me at all. ## Hello, Allie! How are you? I'll be happy to clear this up for you. They both contain the same active ingredient, Zolpidem, but in the CR, it is time released, so it is supposed to help someone fall asleep and stay asleep. The possible side effects, as listed by the FDA, are the same, as well and may include nausea, dizziness, sleep actions, memory loss and anxiety. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have been using Ambien for the past 10 years....I'm a shift worker and since age 40 my regular s...

name of sleeping tablets starting with A ## Hi helen, Ambien is the most common brand name I can think of in this drug category. In clinical trials Ambien has not adequately demonstrated effectiveness in maintaining sleep (unless delivered in a controlled-release form); however, it is effective in initiating sleep. Another brand name is Ativan, which is more geared towards relaxing and relieving anxiety. Is there a specific name you're looking for? ## Sleeping pill dene ke bad kitna der tak eska aser rahata hai......plz tell me

Ambien is not a Benzo, it's a Barbiturate I believe ## To clear this up for everyone that might need to, the FDA actually classifies Ambien/Zolpidem as a sedative/hypnotic. Typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, hallucinations, sleep actions and next day hangover-like effects. Are there any questions or comments? ## Zolpidem is not a benzo, but just as addictive. I was on it for years and cant remember much of that time as it causes the most horrible amnesia. I beg people now to never start using it, EVER. ## it is not a benzo nor it is a barbiturate. the generic is called zolpidam. ## Ambien is not a benzo however if used recreationally not speaking from personal experience but if use for that purpose it's been reported that it does have some b...

I currently take generic ambien 10mg, xanax 1mg 3 times a day, nuerontin 300mg 3 times a day, effexor xr 75mg 2 times a day, and duragesic patch 50mcg every 3 days...I couldnt sleep last night so at 7am this morning I took an extra ambien. I am also taking wkly drug/urines tests for my probation officer...will this extra ambien I took this morning show up in my urine? I test every wednesday and today is monday....if my medication levels go up I will go to jail. Please can someone answer this for me asap? ## No, Ambien contains the active ingredient Zolpidem, it is a type of sedative hypnotic and is not something that is tested for on standard drug tests. Learn more Ambien details here. You do, however, need to be careful when you take it, as it can cause some hangover like effects later...

Can I take ambien and samitrogen at the same time, will it hurt me? ## Hello, Linda! How are you? There are no medications listed under the name Samitrogen. Did you possibly mean Lamotrigine? It is an anticonvulsant that is also used to treat some mood disorders. If so, there are no interactions listed between it and Ambien, though it's always best to double check this information to be sure. However, you may experience more side effects than usual, such as more dizziness, drowsiness and nausea.

I am a cancer patient and take ambien for insomnia as directed most nights. I recently blacked out while driving and had no idea this was happening to me. Thank God no one else was involved. Cops took blood for a screen and it came back with high levels of Ambien like 4 times and gave me a DUI. I am freeked and must go to court. My doc says cancer drugs I am on shouldn't have any part in this. I am on Zomeda for depression as well and many supplements and vitamins. Help!!! Can I take a pilva 434 in place of my ambien 10 for one night only? ## Hello, Lettie! How are you? No, it is a much different medication. The tablet with the PLIVA 434 marking contains 100mgs of Trazodone, which is an antidepressant that is also sometimes used to treat insomnia. However, it's not going to work like your Ambien and should not be taken without your doctor's approval, It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?

what can cause a false positive moth swab drug test for benzodiazapime ## Ambien and lunesta. Lunesta is actually a theobenzodiazopine, meaning it acts on two GABA receptors in you brain where benzodiazepines such a xanax hits all 4 gaba receptors. I live in US but if you research lunesta, they actually use it in Canada as an anti-anxiety med to be taken throughout the day. Ambien and Lunesta are the two most common for showing false positive results for benzodiazepine. Hope this helps. ## That is NOT fair -- people should be told that they can be subjected to false positives!

I'm sorry, but I'm unable to find anything listing of a tablet with this marking. Can you please double check the imprint and post back? Thank you! And, just for your information, Ambien and Zolpidem are the same, Ambien is just the name brand for it. It is most commonly used for the short-term treatment of insomnia. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, funny taste in mouth and next day hangover like effects.

After putting ambien under your tongue and it dissolves. What do I need to do now? ## Ambien is not meant to be taken that way. It should be swallowed whole, with a full, 8 ounce, glass of water, immediately before going to bed. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, funny taste in mouth and next day hangover like effects. Is there anything else I can help with?
