Alprax is a brand name in India for Alprazolam. This is a Benzodiazepeine used to treat nervous disorders and anxiety. This is a highly addictive drug.

Some of the most common side effects include: drowsiness, depression, dizziness and dry mouth.

hello doctor....
i am 27 years old girl living in india.......i have been taking alprax 0.5mg for the past 2 years,not regularly...but frequently due to severe stress in my life...now i am observing memory loss...i can't remember things....i can't concentrate on anything even if i am interested in that......I wanted to know whether this medicine harms us in anyways also does it will affect my fertility as i am not married yet...but concerned about my future......

shaista khan, Though this medicine is heavily addictive but there is no other side effect as far as I know. My mother has been taking this medicine since last 25 yrs and she is absolutely fine. She is 55 now. Get well soon and don't worry.

If you take 6 tablets at one go, you will experience heavy euphoria followed by dizziness and loss of motor skills. If left untreated, this will affect your Kidney & Heart...

i used to take tablets of .5 mg daily in morning if i stop taking these i feel very depressed i m not able to do my ofc work feel very irritated what can i do? how can i stop this and is there any other susitute?

I am 28yrs guy. I had this bit of breathing problem. I have done TMT and it was found that I dont have heart disease. I also went through Endoscopy and found that my liver is swollen a bit and their is High Arterial Gastric. I always feel low on energy and when I walk I feel that my mind/brain is ful of blur vapour and I might fall which makes me more concentrated while walking. I get less sleep. I work at night in a call centre and dont have any fixed sleeping patter. Can I take Alzolam for better sleep and will it help me to get over this blurr or walking problem? Kindly suggest

Why would you want to know that? I truly hope you are not suicidal. Please don't do anything stupid and selfish. I have been a drug addict for 25 years and its not worth it.There are other alternatives
