Has anyone that has used Flonase got cataracts? I have them because of it and nasonex. Are there any class actions against the makers of this? I would not have used it if I had known. ## Have the doctors definitively tied your cataracts to the medications? We have had other posts on here about vision issues developing from people using these types of medications. The problem, however, is proving they are what caused it. And no, I'm sorry, but I know of no class action suits in regards to this. ## My eye surgeon said they were definately caused by steroids and the only one I have used is flonase. After many years of success treating my problems with allergies, I learned that Rondec TR and its generic equivalent Coldec TR were no longer being manufactured. I have tried other meds, but without success. It seems like the key ingredient of Carbinoxamine is lacking in the newer drugs and that is the ingredient of benefit for me. I would welcome any ideas and also would like to better understand why Rondec/Coldec is no longer produced. ## I cannot answer as to why it is no longer made, it could have been found to be dangerous, or the company just wasn't selling it the way they used to, so they were losing money and decided to stop marketing it. I have had a cough and cold for a week, so my dr gave me meds and 1 of those is fluimucil. I finished my 7 days worth of meds but still have a dry cough. My dr. was out so I have been taking an over the counter med - carbocisteine, but I still have the fluimucile. This is the only medication that works for my allergies and when it went over the counter I was extremely disappointed as I didn’t think it worked anymore. I just discovered that it works just fine if I purchase it from Walmart. I was purchasing it from Amazon and I assume the blistering temperatures in the delivery vehicles ruined the product because it did not work at all when I bought it from Amazon. I actually thought it was fake.

In December I was diagnosed w/ cataracts in both eyes (I'm only 54). Two days ago I heard an ad on TV for Nasonex & it mentioned cataracts were a possible side effect. I used Nasonex for a few months a couple of years ago & I just bet it's the culprit behind my eye problems. Anyone else in the same boat as me? ## Nasonex may cause cataracts or glaucoma, or it can make these conditions worse, however, the problem you are going to have is the burden of proof. Has anyone used Nasacort (nasal spray) for Vertigo? ## Yes, actually i was this week. I've been having vertigo for 4 weeks probably a total of 6 times, happens very suddenly.
