Advice Regarding Usage Of Nikoran 5
UpdatedMy father, 59 years of age ..diabetic n has high bp too, recently had a leg fracture n afterwards developed some heaviness in his left hand..All the relevant tests done like eco, ECG, n other blood tests were all normal too. Still the doctor suggested to he take Nikoran 5 twice a day.. I'm confused as to whether it's safe to use it or not as my father has no heart problem as such..please reply.

It is always best to follow the doctor's instructions about taking a medication.
The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and low blood pressure.
What other medications is he taking?
