Adderall Dr

Updated

Hi, I have recently moved back to the new orleans area and need a doctor who liberally prescribes adderall. Any suggestions in the new orleans/metarie/ westbank area would be great. Thanks in advance

Adderall is typically prescribed by psychiatrists and pediatricians, while general practitioners typically prescribe the medication for certain off-label uses.

That said, I would consider finding psychiatrists and/or pediatricians in your area as opposed to a regular medical doctor. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and many general physicians are reluctant to prescribe controlled substances due to abuse and the heavy regulations that they have to abide by from the government.

I know this isn't a direct answer to your question, but I hope this helps!

I completely understand, I was looking for a direct recommendation. I am self insured and also unemployed now and how to make wise decisions where every dollar goes. I have been on Adderall for about 10 years and have records, I am just looking for a easy going psychiatrist that I can see every few months. I don't have the time or money to test a few out to see if there is a fit. If someone would ask me for the recommendation in the city I was living in, I know a few good ones I could mention.

kkwa,

Did you ever find a doctor that would prescribe you Adderall? I'm moving to New Orleans this fall was wondering the same thing. I've been prescribed for the past 12 years by my small town doctor.

you're unemployed, but you don't have the time? Don't be contradictory to your physician who's writing your RX's, you'll never get them...

I know multiple Dr.'s in New Orleans that can help you with all of your problems. All i ask in return is the name(s) of Dr.'s who will prescribe buprenorphine to me for a chronic urogenital condition i suffer from annually which induces excruciating pain, especially synergistically with the testicular trauma i accrued from thai kickboxing as an amateur throughout high school...my current source is one of the best dr's in the city and i dont want to risk getting her in any type of trouble especially since she is so brilliant and not one of those quacks that prescribe subutex and suboxone to make $$$ and do shady stuff like refusing to accept any health insurance plans and charge outrageous amounts for those in serious need...when the hippocratic oath they all took makes them ethically responsible for putting the patient before monetary gain...and the karma that is gonna come back around. Anyways, If you can help we with finding a pain management dr. in new orleans, that does not do nerve blocks since my urologist has strictly told me not to ever be talked into letting that surgery happen, and that will treat me and my plight/suffering with respect and continue to provide me with my subutex Rx along with an emergency breakthrough pain Rx for the really bad days and i have no other option if i want to be able to work and endure the pain; THEN i promise to give the names of every doctor in the city that will provide you what you need. My whole family knows every doctor that will provide you with the things you need and most importantly: what you will need to say during your appointment. Now I know a few quack anesthesiologist...but i am hoping that for the wealth of information i possess and am currently in this rare position where i am willing to share that knowledge with the right person/people; then write me back ASAP and once you guys provide me with relatively unknown Dr.'s in the city that accepts bcbs of LA health insurance and will treat me with respect even before i show them proof of my condition via my medical history, i will share with you the names for the Dr.'s that will best serve you and resolve your RX search/situation. I am also open to if you know of a Dr that charges 200$ or less for those who suffer from chronic pain conditions and need there help to function and live life as well as detox as quickly as possible once the pain subsides...but you must know for certain that the cash payment is completely worth it...even if the names are not much help but you honestly tried to hold up your end of the deal, i will still hook you up with some DR. names since im a nice guy. I just need help locating a obscure pain management Dr. that will see me right away so i dont have to be on hydromorphone again b/c i had no other choice but to see my urologist about pain management instead of an anesthesiologist/pain management specialist who will respect and understand what i am trying to do here... Dilaudid should only be used for breakthrough pain, and for all of us who suffer from these chronic 3 to 6 month flare ups of excruciating pain deserve a pain management Dr. that will supervise and ensure that we can function and maintain the quality of life any human being deserves so we can carry on with our lives and also not be discriminated against or judged when we are the ones who are really in need of help...not junkies or those scumbags who have the audacity to make up a chronic condition just b/c they want pain medication. Thanks and God Bless/good luck to those of you out there who are honestly in need of ADHD/anxiety/and pain management medication and treatment assistance.

Hi - I don't know if you are still looking for a Dr. to help with your situation. I completely understand because I was put on hydromorphone and methadone for chronic pain and it was disastrous. Meanwhile I do have the need for a psych who will Rx for ADD/ADHD. The one I've been seeing has me on Strattera which isn't helping at all.
