I have dental pain due to what the dentist thinks is a dying nerve. I was prescribed Myprodol, but I have previoulsy had a stomach ulcer and I am reluctant to take it. My appointment with the endodontist is only in 2 days. Is there an alternative to Myprodol with the same anti-inflammatory proerties and pain relief, that will not be harmful in terms of stomach acid production? ## what is the alternative drug of myprodol ? ## Myprodol is listed as containing a combination of Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, and Codeine, it is used to alleviate moderate to severe pain. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Want to make sure pharmacy gave me the correct medication. I had taken some pain medication that has M367 but today the pharmacy gave me a pill with the letter "n" on the left side and "358" on the right side of the score line. On the other side it has number "10". Just want to make sure I got the correct medication for pain. Not more or less of what my Dr has been giving me. I take a 10mg dose. I am supposed to take 10mg of hydrocodone and 325mg of acetaminophen. Want to make sure that is what I got today. ## I had to double check also. They are hydro 10s. No worries. ## RE: n358 hydrocodone Why do people always say "I found this pill"?... B.S. why can't they just say I got this pill, trying to make sure it's what I think it is or bought or whate...

I am 43 years old and one month pregnant. Can I take flustat? ## Based on my research, Flu-Stat Capsules contain the following active ingredients: (Acetaminophen + Caffeine + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Phenylephrine Hydrochloride + Vitamin C). When it comes to pregnancy, it's usually best to discuss which drugs are safe with your doctor first, in case he or she has special instructions outside of the norm. However from what I could gather, Acetaminophen is believed to be safe in pregnancy when used intermittently for short durations. Chlorpheniramine and Phenylephrine on the other hand are only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefits outweigh risk. For reasons like this I would also suggest getting a second opinion from your doctor. I don't think you can ever be too s...

I've found a white oblong pill with rounded ends. It's embossed with "L404" on one side, while the other side is plain. Thank you in advance for any help identifying it. ## I think that the imprint being reported is actually L484 instead of L404. Is it possible that the '8' is just worn down? If so, then the tablet in question is actually just an over the counter pain reliever containing Acetaminophen 500 mg (not a narcotic). NDC 49348-042 among others. Inactive Ingredients: - Carnauba Wax - Starch, Corn - Hypromelloses - Polyethylene Glycols - Povidones - Stearic Acid Ref: DailyMed ## I believe your pill is Acetaminophen 325mg, Dextromethorphan 15mg, Guaifenesin 200mg, phenylephrine 5mg, which are active ingredients in Cold PE Severe Congestion, an OTC combo. #...

Im trying to find out for sure myself, but have reason to believe thats what its for. ## It actually sounds like you might have found an Acetaminophen tablet, which is a generic for Tylenol, it is used to treat headaches, fever, and body aches. The one that is red with the Z marking is manufactured by Leiner Health Products and they list it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Wife received a new pill made by this company as a sub for her usual oxycodon-acetaminophen 7.5-325, white football shaped small pill with the ID U16 on one side and the other blank, The pills seem to have no real relief of pain compared to the other made by Mylan, they are either much weaker or out right rip offs, have contacted RiteAid who just started using these things to see what they say. If it is going to be this way, she will have to change to the more expensive regular Percocet, cost more, but always work. What are the drug manufacturers up to now they increase prices but lower quality and pain relief. They are screwing with the wrong people, people in real pain need relief and do not and will not tolerate silly crap from anyone. Everyone can be tracked down using the internet ...

Right now I have a very painful stiff neck that's been troubling me for a week to date. Is this pill (imprinted s525) good for me to take to possibly relieve this pain? ## Hi Mike, The pill your describing imprinted with S525 is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen (500mg) + Diphenhydramine HCL (25mg). And just to confirm, this is a blue capsule-shaped pill with a National Drug Code of 51824-0017. Acetaminophen (otherwise known as Tylenol) may help a little bit, but Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine used for allergies, so it's pretty much useless for pain in my opinion. Have you considered making a doctor's appointment to obtain more effective treatment options? Kratom is something that helps me whenever I have a stiff neck and it's available OTC in most states. I am currently breastfeeding and went to my local pharmacy for painkillers. They gave me Gen-payne and said its safe for breastfeeding. I have taken a number of times but am now worried looking at the ingredients. Is is really safe? My baby is 12 months and only breastfeeds at night in bed. ## In South Africa, Gen-Payne is reported to contain Codeine, Ibuprofen, and Paracetamol as active ingredients. As such, it is generally not recommended to take this medication while breastfeeding unless deemed safe by your doctor. This is mostly because of the Ibuprofen in it. Is Gen-Payne Capsule safe while breastfeeding? - Codeine Phosphate: Please discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. - Ibuprofen: No - Paracetamol: Please discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. I have a headache and want to take Advil (Ibuprofen) right now. Only thing is I am planning to take a Tylenol PM (Acetaminophen with Diphenhydramine) in about 2 hours to go to bed. Does anybody know if it is okay to take Acetaminophen a couple hours after taking Ibuprofen?? ## Yes, as long as your doctor approves, they can be combined, and it is sometimes recommended that a person do so, to treat certain types of pain, such as severe headaches, and arthritis. As a matter of fact, there is now a product available over the counter called Advil Dual Action, and it contains Ibuprofen, and Acetaminophen. However, as I said, you should first make sure it is safe for you to take them, and make sure you don't exceed the recommended safe dosing amounts. The FDA warns that Ibuprofen, and Acet...

Actually I believe they are JetAsleep brand sleeping pills with acetaminophen (350mg) and diphenhydramine(50mg).
