Fentanyl, the active ingredient in Actiq is a very potent narcotic analgesic.

The lollipop form is used to force a slow release of the medication in order to get better control of pain.

Learn more Actiq details here.

Since it is an opiate narcotic, it may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation.

Is there anything I can help with? Are there any comments or questions?

I was taking Oxycontin until they switched it to OxyNeo. Not too sure how Health Canada cleared BHT as a safe ingredient; a chemical used in carpet cleaning. Well i had a bad reaction. Despite the fact I couldnt absorb it or something it made me really sick. I lost 30lbs in just a few short weeks. Now I have been prescribed the fentanyl patch; which was great until waking up to find my GirlFriend was blue. So that wasnt a good option. So my question is have Oxycontin been made as a generic in Canada or can fentanyl be perscribed with a different ROA.
