Well, I can't tell you why your doctor prescribed it, but I can tell you what it is normally prescribed to treat.
Amlosafe AT contains Amlodipine and Atenolol, this is a combination medication containing a beta-blocker and a calcium channel blocker. It is most commonly prescribed to treat high blood pressure, but can also be used for some heart conditions.

Doctor adviced for Atenolol 2.5 mg OD Lasix also but Now a Days his Blood pressure is low @ 100/60,110/70 .... So Please advised me to take Atenolol in LOW BLOOD PRESSURE or not ?????
