Aderrall

Updated

My Dr retired. I am having a very hard time finding another dr to prescribe me aderral. I quit taking them 2 months ago but have recently been told by my District Manager in a confidential meeting that my work performance has decreased & my error ratio is above what is allowed. I am going to lose my job if I cannot obtain a Dr to prescribe me meds needed desperately at this point. My family has also talked with me in a family meeting regarding my attention span and the 16 unfinished projects around my home. I live in Michigan, not far from Detroit. But all 3 doctors have told me that since I have quit taking aderrall they see no reason for me to begin again. I did find one Dr however, he does not take my insurance and wanted $415.00 for the office call alone I just cannot believe my Dr retired, he literally restored the quality of my life 8 years ago and now he is gone. I am at my witts end, what can I do before I lose my job and my family? Please help me with any information available.

What type of doctors have you been seeing?

Due to the new regulations that were put place last year, if you require a medication like this on a long-term ongoing basis, you're going to need to see a specialist. The best way to do that would be to set yourself up with a new PCP and then have them refer you to someone.

Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?

This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia and anorexia.

I also am looking for a specialist that will prescribe aderrall for narcolepsy. I'm in south eastern IN. I made a drs appointment w my PMP and w a neurologist but I have a feeling I'm not going to have much luck bc of my situation and the medications I've been on for nearly 10 years...this all sort of hit me this past year and now I'm to the point I can't do everyday things I should be able to do for my family and myself and I need a Dr who will hear me and not just push me to the side. I'm travelling to Indianapolis to see this neurologist. If anyone knows of a good one in that area I'd appreciate them letting me know.
