This tablet contains 50mgs of Prednisone, which is a steroid class medication, so no, it's not going to do anything for a stuffy nose and it's not any type of narcotic.

And there are some risk associated with taking, especially in such a high dose, so it is best avoided if it hasn't been prescribed for you.
