5 Mg Oxycodone

I was prescribed 5/325mg of oxycodone for when I have headaches and for a month I have been depending on a half of one EVERYNIGHT to go to sleep or I cant sleep. How do I stop and will it affect me if I do stop??

That's a very low amount to be taken and there shouldn't be any sever problems with stopping it, but you may experience some rebound insomnia.

The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

nope tht very helpful but since it low amount if i stop cold turkey will i have severe withdrawls?

Not likely, you may have some minor symptoms, such as rebound insomnia and headaches, but there shouldn't be any severe withdrawal symptoms.

However, it's always best to double check with your doctor.

How long have you had trouble sleeping?

Hey Guys, it's
Last night was the first night I did not have a headache in a while, so I went to bed without taking a half of percocet and did not have Amy trouble sleeping. Now if I keep doing that will I have severe withdrawal symptoms?

I have taken oxycocet for a year, 1/2 in the morning, 1/2 at night. When I stopped I experienced some mild diariah, and mild feeling of skin and breath being cold. Also slight runny nose. This lasted 3 days.
