1st Time Suboxen User Needs Help On How To Use Correctly?

I've recently have had a back surgery and the dr will not write me anymore rx's for pain. So i started buying off the street and this is runining my life in every aspect! I have been taking 5 15mg pills of opana and when i cant get those its been about 5 30mg pills of roxicet for almost 6 mos now but before then i was prescribed 10mg of percocet 4x a day. I want to get off these meds and a friend gave me 3 8mg pills of suboxen to help me but I know nothing about these or how i should take them. I've researched online but still not quite sure how i should go about using these. I have 1 days supply of opana then this saturday is my quit day. Some threads ive read suggest taking the whole pill and others say break them into 1/4's?? Is there anyome out there that can give me some guidance on how i should take these...PLEASE?????

Hey this is Ash from the suboxone forums. Like I said take small amounts. If you have enough to last you through today (Fri) do not take subs Saturday! Wait until Sunday. The longer the better and the tablets I think are much stronger then the film so star out with just a quarter of it. If you need more try another little piece. DO NOT TAKE THE WHOLE PILL AND DO NOT TAKE IT BEFOE SUNDAY. I have been there and done it. I was doing 3 Opana 40s a day okay...and not the new gel ones. So just listen to me. take a small amount Sunday. If your serious about quitting then just Enid to get rid of the withdrawals. Good luck and keep us informed how everything goes :)

What I'm not sure on is that I have only 3 8mg pills if I follow the induction process by using the minimal amount that is suggested on this link why would it take 4-8 weeks to taper off the suboxone?? What will happen if I take just enough suboxen to eleviate the W/D for 5-7 days then just STOP the using the suboxen completely??

Any help or suggestions are VERY MUCH NEEDED!!! I have no idea really what Im doing here and am scared to death!! I plan on starting using the suboxen tomorrow but if having only 3 pills are gonna make things worse then I dunno what Im going to have to do?? HELP! HELP! HELP!

Just take some when you.feel withdrawals. I dont know how long it normally takes you to come down off something but if it takes you normally three days until you're through the worst of it. Then only use it for maybe four days, and like I said before, just enough to get rid of withdrawal.
