HIV / AIDS Overview

Human immunodeficiency virus infection and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS) is a spectrum of conditions caused by infection with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).[10][11][12] Following initial infection, a person may not notice any symptoms or may experience a brief period of influenza-like illness.[5] Typically, this is followed by a prolonged period with no symptoms.[6] As the infection progresses, it interferes more with the immune system, increasing the risk of common ...

I am on ARV since september last year, 4months on Tenarenz which managed to make my viral load undetectable, since its nolonger on market I've changed to Eflaten which contains same ingredients, Can someone tell me if this Eflaten will manage to maintain my viral load undetectable. Thanks. ## Hello, Siffy! How are you? If it contains the same active ingredient, then it should work for just as well as the other one. I can't say you'll stay undetectable, because sometimes our bodies get used to a medication and it may not be as effective. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Good day Can you tell me if I have yellow eyes due to HiV treatment should ## Hi, I just started using Eflaten..i first experience minor side effects but in a month i seems OK...But now I have big pi...

How do I know if I have HIV?
1 Reply RSS
I had intercourse almost 2 years ago with someone I didn't know very well. I was diagnosed with HSV2 a few months after that - I have not had any bad outbreaks since and have not been taking any medication to prevent it either. We used a condom every time and I took an at home HIV test almost 7 months after our last encounter which was negative. Recently, I have had an ear blockage that was believed to be due to allergies and an unfortunate allergy to the antibiotic. I know the risk of me having HIV is low but I still just can't shake the idea. Is it possible? ## The only way to find out is by seeing your doctor and requesting a blood test to check for it, these tests are much more reliable than the others, according to FDA reviews. Your doctor has heard it all and seen it all, ...

Tenemine for HIV prevention
Post a Reply
I started taking 'prep' a few months ago. At first it was the prep we were introduced to. Then later I was given another kind of pill which was different from the first. I was told it was the same medication but had a change of container. It's now called Tenemine... M117 blue oval pill. It contains: Tenofovir + disoproxil + fumarate + emtricitabile. I'm really worried. Is my doctor still giving me the right medication? I'm HIV negative.

its a large white tablet imprinted m152. ## what the are active ingredients of an oval shaped white tablet imprinted M 152 on it. state the various uses and side effects. thank you. ## What does m152cure ## Hello everyone, Based on my research, a white capsule-shaped film coated tablet imprinted with “M 152” on one side and blank on the other side, is identified as an HIV-1 medication containing the following active ingredients: Efavirenz 600mg + Lamivudine 300mg + Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate 300mg. It doesn't say that it's intended to cure anything, but rather "treat" the condition, like most prescription medications. And as far as side effects are concerned, I've actually seen some sites list two pages worth of symptoms for this particular medication....
